Does the ACM-01 work with radios from other brands?
The radio-side dual-pin connector is shaped for the Hytera iSeries accessory port. It is not a universal 2-pin plug. Do not assume it fits Motorola or Kenwood radios, even where a 2-pin connector looks similar. The 3.5 mm earpiece side is standard and works with the four listed Hytera earpieces.
Is the Hytera ACM-01 compatible only with iSeries radios?
Hytera designates the ACM-01 for its iSeries handheld radios. What actually governs fit is the dual-pin accessory port, so a model outside the iSeries that uses the same port can also work, while an iSeries model is not a guarantee on its own.
