Why Professionals Choose the Hytera PTT/MIC Cable ACS-01
Hotels, retail chains and schools often issue compact BD302i or PD362i radios to staff with different roles. A front desk agent wants a small earbud. A security officer on the same channel needs an acoustic tube that stays discreet. With one-piece earpiece kits, each style is a separate kit with its own PTT and microphone. When the cable or button fails, the whole kit is replaced.
The ACS-01 splits the audio kit into two parts. The cable attaches to the radio through a 1-pin connector and runs 3 ft to the PTT/MIC unit. A rugged clip holds the unit on a vest, lapel or collar. A short flying lead from the unit ends in a 3.5 mm socket. The user plugs in an ES-01 earbud, EA-01 acoustic tube, EH-01 C-hook or EH-02 over-the-ear earpiece. The radio side stays the same for every role.
The cable is built for daily handling. It meets IP54 for protection against dust and splashing water. It operates from -4ºF to 140ºF. Hytera rates the PTT button for at least 100,000 cycles. The cable carries CE certification.

FAQ
Is the ACS-01 compatible with other brands using the same connector?
Hytera lists the ACS-01 only for Hytera radios and Hytera receive-only earpieces. Other brands use connectors that look similar but wire PTT and microphone contacts differently. On the earpiece side, a non-Hytera 3.5 mm earpiece may fit the socket. Hytera does not confirm volume or fit for such earpieces. For reliable audio, use the four Hytera earpieces listed above.
