The EH-02 earpiece is designed for receive-only use and does not have a microphone or PTT button. The speaker has a rated power of 50 mW and a peak power of 100 mW at a 150-ohm load. Does the EH-02 include the cable, or is it sold separately?
The EH-02 is sold as the earpiece only. The PTT/MIC cable that connects to the radio is a separate part. Choose the cable by radio model, then pair it with the EH-02. This keeps the earpiece reusable if you change radios and only swap the cable.
Will the EH-02 3.5 mm plug work with other brands' earpiece cables?
The 3.5 mm plug is shaped to mate with Hytera PTT/MIC cables. A 3.5 mm plug is common, but the audio level and pinout are set for Hytera's cables. Do not assume it matches another brand's cable jack. Use the EH-02 with the Hytera cables listed for it.
