The Hytera ES-01 is a lightweight earbud designed for discreet listening. It functions solely as an audio output device and is compatible only with other Hytera audio accessories. Portable radio users who already use a Hytera cable with a PTT button and microphone or a remote speaker microphone can use the ES-01 to listen to radio communications discreetly.
The ES-01 is not equipped with a PTT button or microphone and does not have an IP rating. It features a 3.5 mm connector and connects to the radio via compatible devices such as the ACM-01, ACN-01, ACN-02, or SM50M1. Weighing approximately 9 g, the earpiece provides comfortable wear during prolonged use.
When ordering the ES-01 earbud, the controller cable is a key component. Select the cable that is compatible with your radio, then connect the ES-01 earbud to it.

Can the ES-01 be used with the SM26M1 remote microphone?
Not directly. The ES-01 has a 3.5 mm plug. It fits 3.5 mm ports, such as the one on the SM50M1 speaker mic or on ACM/ACN controller cables. The SM26M1 uses a 2.5 mm port, so it needs its own 2.5 mm earpiece instead. Tell us your mic or cable and we will match the correct earbud.
Can I use the ES-01 with most Hytera portable radios if I have the right controller cable?
Yes, within the supported range. The ES-01 itself is the same 3.5 mm earbud; what changes by radio is the PTT/mic controller cable or speaker mic it plugs into (for example ACM-01 for PD4/PD5, ACN-01 for PD7, ACN-02 for PD6/X1).
